David West is my choice for Mayor of Richmond Hill.
Over the years that I worked with David I always appreciated his fair approach to serving the Public. He has always been fair, trusted, responsible and considerate of others. He is patient but strong and has helped create a leadership team at Council that treats residents and city staff with respect. 
During these turbulent political and economic times David offers a calming, thoughtful approach to maintaining our quality of life and growing our business opportunities both locally and internationally.  
David represents us well at the Regional Municipality of York and with our Provincial counterparts. He knows our community, our city. He lives with the same concerns that I do. As my Mayor, he has proven himself to balance between offering community services and maintaining a fair tax rate.
