I, Sohrab Masoodi, a proud Canadian citizen who immigrated to Canada from Iran, have had the absolute honor of knowing our Mayor, David West.

I have lived in Richmond Hill since arriving in Canada in 1993. At that time, Richmond Hill was a town of approximately 40,000 residents. Today, it has grown into a thriving city of more than 250,000 people.

During the more than three decades that my family and I have lived in Richmond Hill, I have never seen a mayor quite like David West. He is exceptionally down-to-earth, approachable, and always willing to engage with members of the community in a prompt and friendly manner.

The improvements I have witnessed in our city under his leadership have been remarkable. His dedication to serving residents and enhancing the quality of life in Richmond Hill is truly exemplary.

I will wholeheartedly support and vote for David West in his re-election campaign, and I encourage all Richmond Hill residents to do the same. He has accomplished a great deal for our city, and I am confident that, with the same commitment and energy, he will achieve even more during a second term.

I sincerely hope he continues to serve our community for many years to come. Richmond Hill has greatly benefited from his leadership, and I believe its future remains bright under his guidance.
