It’s a pleasure to recommend David West to run again for Mayor of the City of Richmond Hill. Mr. West and I have known each other for many years starting with our time together at the Richmond Hill Board of Trade. As founder of West Photo he was a pleasure to deal with as photographer. (The only one who got a decent smile out of me, thus, a great picture of me!). On the RHBOT, David and I served on the Board of Directors and he was my Chairman. He was and is very thoughtful, listens, is collaborative, professional and made good decisions for the organisation. As a former Councillor and current Mayor he displays the same behaviours, values & traits and he is always approachable. Mr. West is timely and responsive to all enquiries, large and small. He has been instrumental in bringing in a calmness and decorum to Council meetings. David is also creative and innovative with initiatives that help us in the City, whether its Environmental, Industrial, Business, or our Community. I look forward to having Mr. West as our Mayor again to bring in even more success to our City.
